What are the power requirements?

All cold plunges and chillers plug directly into a standard 120V wall outlet. The chillers draw about 10.5A and, where possible, should be placed on their own breaker.

What foundation do I need to place the cold plunge on?

Filled with water, our cold plunges (including The Revive and The Elite) can weigh over 2,000 lbs. Your foundation must support the full filled weight — we recommend a concrete pad or a wooden deck engineered for the load. Do not place the tub directly on dirt, as it can sink under the weight.

Are the cold plunges loud?

Not at all — they're quite quiet, emitting about 50 dB when running (similar to a small electric fan or a dishwasher). The main sound is the fan used to expel hot air.

Are the cold plunges and chillers expensive to operate?

It depends on local electricity rates, but these are low-power machines (about 1 kWh) and generally inexpensive to run. For most users who only run the plunge when in use (and while cooling it down beforehand), it's about $10–$20 per month.

How often does the cold plunge / chiller run?

The chiller runs until it reaches your temperature setting, then switches to monitoring mode, cycling on and off as needed to hold that temperature. How often it runs depends on outdoor temperature and how much cooling is required.
