Common issues & fixes

Symptom Likely cause Troubleshooting
Overheat cut-out The safety limiter has tripped after exceeding the temperature limit. Let the heater cool, then press the small reset button on the temperature limiter; check for adequate airflow and that the sensor isn't blocked.
Heater on / no heat The timer is running but the stones stay cold. Check the circuit breaker, confirm the timer dial is set, and inspect the heating elements — if they don't glow, they may be burnt out.
Heats very slowly Airflow is restricted inside the heater. Don't pack the stones tightly; re-stack them loosely so air can pass through the elements.
