Infrared Pro — New-Sauna Smell on First Use

A faint smell during the first few uses is normal — it's the new wood and heaters curing, and it fades quickly.

  • Run the sauna empty at a high setting for 30–45 minutes with the door closed, then air it out. Repeat once or twice if needed.
  • Wipe the interior wood with a clean, damp cloth.
  • Make sure nothing (packaging or protective film) was left on the heaters or panels.

If a strong or unusual smell continues after a few sessions, turn the sauna off and contact us.
