Why Sauna Lighting Is Crucial
Sauna lighting sets the mood and ensures safety in the sauna, but with so many options available today, picking the right ones for your project can be a bit tricky. It's essential to keep some rules of thumb in mind when deciding on the amount of light you need.
Mood Creator - Setting the Ambience
Sure, lighting is crucial for creating the right vibe, but it's also a safety must-have. Different bathers may have varying lighting preferences, and it's not just a matter of personal taste. For instance, seniors often need twice as much light as younger folks for safety reasons.
Installation, Dimmers and Location, and Waterproof
The best way to control brightness to your liking is by installing a light dimmer. Where you place your sauna LED lights can significantly impact the sauna's ambiance. Remember, the goal is to light up the sauna, not the bathers. For a cozy and relaxing atmosphere, consider a mix of ceiling and bench lights. Always opt for waterproof sauna lights to ensure safety and durability. With the right sauna light fixture, you can fill your sauna with a delightful, soft glow.
Consider Your Environment
When deciding on sauna lighting, consider more than just how much light you need. Factors like the sauna's color and finish play a crucial role too. For instance, lighting that works perfectly in a white sauna might feel too bright in a black one, and vice versa. The wood color of the sauna can also be influenced by your lighting choices.
